New Delhi, the 20th April, 1983
S.O. 323(E).—The Central Government, having considered in consultation with ihc ]-orward Markets Commission, the application for renewal of recog- nition made undei Section 5 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952; by the Pepper & Ginger Marchants Association Ltd., Bombay, and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the said Act, recognition to the said Asso- ciation for a further period of two years from the 20th April, 1983 to the 19th April, 1985 (both days inclusive), in respect of forward contracts in pepper within the limits of Greater Bombay as defined in the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 (Bombay Act 1 of 1904), us in force in the State of Maharashtra.
The recognition hereby granted is subject to the condition that the said Association shall comply with such directions as. may, from time to time, be given by the Forward Markets Commission.
