F. No. 600/2728/82-DBK;-Undor rule 4 of the Custoais and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1971 (Notification No. J2/F.No. 602/2/70-DBK published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, dated the 25th Augmt, 1971), the Central Govern- ment hereby makes the following amendment in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-11/83 dated the 3th April, 1983.
In the column 'Rate of drawback' in the concluding para, against Sub-Si. No. 2728, for the existing entries, read the following.

7. 4% (Seven point four per cent only) of f.o.b. value 2728

107 % (One hundred and seven percent only) of drawback rate in respect of yam content at the appropriate rate specified under S3. No. of Serial No. 26 of this schedule, subject to the condition that the exporter produces evidence of payment of yarn duty without protest by manufacturer (s) of yarn.
