NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 27th April, 1983

S.O. 334(E).—In pursuance of sub-section (5) of section 5 read with sub-

section (h) of section t> of the Press Council Act, 1978 (37 of 19781, the Central

Government hereby notifies the name of Shrl Birendrakumar Bbattachnrya as

member in the place of Prof. Umashankar Joshi who vucated the office in

accordance with sub-section (5) of section 6 of the said Act and makes the

following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting No. S.O. 13CKE), dated the 8th

March, 1982, namely:—

In the laid notification, against serial numbwr 23, for the entry "Prof.

Umashankar Joshi", the following entry shall be substituted,

namely:—

"Snii Birendrakumar Bhattacharya."
