G.S.R. 366tE).—In CA.ei\;isc of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (.52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest to to do, hereby make-> the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of JFirtance, Department of Revenue, No. 167-Customs, dated the 26tb Muy, 1952, namely :—
In parngiaph 2 of the ^aid notification, for the figures, letters and words "30tb day uf April, 1983", the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1984"' shall be substituted.

G.S.R. 367(E).—In exercise of Ihe powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Ccntrnl Govern- ment being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby ni'ikcs the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in Ihe Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 76-Ciistoms dated the 31s' March, 1978, namely :—
In PaiagKiph 2 of the said notification, for the fitjujes, letters arid words "30th dt-'y of April, 1983", the figures, letters and words "31st day of March' 1084" shall be substituted.
