G.S.R. 368(E).—In exercise of the powers c o n f e r r ed by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 80/82-Customs, dated the 1st March. 1982. namely :—
In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figured, letters and words "30th day of April. 1983" the figures, letters and words "31st day of July, 1983" shall be sub- stituted.

In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figures, letters and words "30th April, 1983" the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1984" shall be substituted.

In the Table annexed to the said notification aflalnst SI. No. 2, for the entry in column (2) the following entry shell be substituted, namely :—
"Primipbos Methyl 25 per cent wdp".
