S.R.O. 36-E.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 14 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924), the Central Government, being satisfied that for the administration of the Cantonment, it is desirable to vary the constitution of the Cantonment Board, Jabalpur hereby maker a declaration to that effect and further directs that the consti tution of the said Board shall stand varied for a period six months with effect from the 5th May, 1983 or till Board is constituted under section 13 of the said Act, which ever is earlier.

2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II -SEC. 4]S.R.O.. 37-E.—In pursuance of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924) read with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence No S.R.O. 36-E dated the 7th May, 1983, published in the Government of India, Extraordinary Gazette, Part TI Section 4, dated the 7th May. 1983 the Central Government hereby notilics lhat the following two persons have been no- minated by tfai Officer Commanding the Station to be the members of the Cantonment Board, Jtibalpur with effect from
5th May, 1983 :—
1. Lt. Col. A. J. Rao.—nominated under clause (b) of
sub-section 12) of section 14.
2. Shri Dhanraj Nabnr.—nominated under clause (c) of
sub-section (2) of section 14.
