Subject : FAport Policy of Mulberry Silk Waste including cleaned and de-
gummed silk waste.
File No.. 2/19/83-EI.—Reference is. invited to the Export Policy of Mul- berry Silk Waste including cleaned and degummed Silk waste indicated against SI. No. 62(iii)(,c) of Policy Statement in Volume II of Import and Export Policy 1983-84.
2. The existing licensing policy at SI, (i) indicated in Column 3 against SI. No. 62(iii)(cj of Policy Statement in resptct of mulberry silk waste shall be mbslMuied by the following :—
"(i) 1;5 in respect of Mulberry silk waste other than charkha waste, excluding processed waste i.e.. against the supply of 5 Kg. of silk waste to any of the Government Silk Milh, the supplier will be entitled to export 1 Kg. of silk waste."
