the Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947 (15 of 1947) and in continuation of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence S.R.O. No. 65 E dated the 14th July, 1983, the Central Government hereby declares all services connected with the operation and maintenance of telephone services in the State of Assam to be ser- vices of vital importance to the community for a further period of one month with effect from 16th August, 1983.

No. 66-E dated the 14th July, 1983, the Central Government hereby declares every service forming part of, or connected with, the production and supply of petroleum products and running and maintenance of oil installations and pipelines in Assam to be a service of vital impor- tance to the community for a further period of one month with effect from 18th August*, 1983.
