आ० अ ० 79 ( अ ) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1950 की धाग 13 कक की उप-धारा ( 1 ) मे अन्र्तावप्ट उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में तथा इस आयोग की तारीख 13 फरवरी , 1973 की अधिसूचना मं ० 508/73 ( बिहार ) को अधिक्रान्त करते हुए , निर्वाचन आयोग बिहार सरकार के परामर्श में, पूर्व चम्पारण, मारण, मुजफ्फरपुर, दरभंगा, सहरसा, मधेपुरा , पूर्णिया , कटिहार , भागलपुर, मुंगेर , खर्गारया, पटना, भोजपुर, गया, बेगुसराय, वैशाली, पश्चिमी चम्पारण, नालन्दा, रोहतास, समस्तीपुर, मधुबनी, मिवान, गोपालगंज , मीतामढ़ी, नवादा और औरंगाबाद जिला में प्रत्येक के जिला मजिस्ट्रेट को, तथा हजारी बाग, दुमका, गांड्डा , माहेबगंज, देवधर , धनबाद , सिंहभूम , रांची , गुमला , लोहारदगा, पलामू और गिरिडीह जिलों में प्रत्येका के उपयुक्त को उस जिले के लिए , जिसका वह', यथास्थिति, जिला मजिस्ट्रेट या उपायुक्त है. जिला निर्वाचन आफिसर के रूप में एतद्वारा पदाभिहित करता है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 6th August , 1983
Ο.Ν. 79 ( Ε ) . In pursuance of the provisions contained in sub - section ( 1 ) of section 13AA of the Representation of the People Act , 1950 and in supersession of the Commission's Notification No. 50873 ( BR ) , dated 13th February , 1973 , as amended , the Election Commission , in consultation with the Government of Bihar, hereby designates the District Magistrate of each of the Districts of Fast Champaran , Saran , Muzaffarpur , Darbhanga, Saharsa, Madhepura , Purnea , Katihar , Bhagalpur, Monghyr , Khagaria, Patna , Bhojpur, Gaya , Begu sarai , Vaishali , West Champaran , Nalanda, Roh- tas , Samastipur , Madhubani , Siwan , Gopalganj , Sitamarhi , Nawada and Aurangabad and the De- puty Commissioner of each of the District of Ha- zaribagh, Dumka , Godda , Sahebganj , Deoghar , Dhanbad, Singhbhum , Ranchi , Gumla , Laharda- ga , Palamu and Giridih as the District Election Officer of the District of which he is the District Magistrate or the Deputy Commissioner as the case may be .
