NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 12th August, 1983

S.O. 593(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 4 of the Gold (Control) Act. 1968 (45 of 1968), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri S. B. Sarkar, Member, Central Board of Excise & Customs and ex-officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue, as Administrator, vice Shri A. K. Bandyopadhyay.

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force

on 30th July, 1983.
