NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th August, 1983
S.O. 594(£).—Whereas the Central Government notiiied its intention, as required by section 3A of the Employment of Child- ren Act, 1938 (XXVI of 1938), to add to the schedule of said Act "building and construction industry" as item number 11 in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) dated 18th December, 1982, under the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Rehabilita- tion (Department of Labour) No. S.O. 850(E) dated 24th Novem- ber, 1982.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3A of the said Act, the Central Government, hereby adds to the schedule of the said Act "Building and Construction Industry" as item number 11.
