आ०अ ० 85 (अ): गुजरात सरकार ने संसदीय और विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र परिसीमन आदेश , 1976 की अनुसूची-6 में दिए गए निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के वर्णन में निर्देशित कतिपय प्रादेशिक खण्डों के नाम और सीमाओं में कुष्ठछ परिवर्तन सूचित किए हैं;
और, निर्वाचन आयोग, संसदीय और सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र परिसीमन आदेश , 1976 को अद्यतन बनाने के लिए उस आदेश की अनुसूची-6 में दिए गए निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के विस्तार के वर्णन में संशोधन करना आवश्यक और समीचीन समझता है ;
यतः, अब, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1950 की धारा 9 की उप-धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त आदेश में निम्नलिखित शुद्धियां करता है:-
(1) 603 GI/83
I. अनुसूची के भाग ख में :--
(1) 45. अमरेली में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में " अमरेली नगरपालिका और अमरेली तालुक" के स्थान पर " अमरेली नगरपालिका और अमरेली तालुका ( अमेली तालुक के सरम- भाड़ा ग्राम में सम्मिलित धारी तालुक के पुराने ग्राम ' भाठ' के क्षेत्र को छोड़कर ) " पढ़ा जाए ;
2) 46. धारी में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में, "धारी तालक ; और परिशिष्ट की मद ( 13) में विनिर्दिष्ट कुंकावाव वाडिया तालुक के ग्राम" के स्थान पर , "धारी तालुक ; और अमरेली तालुक के ग्राम ' सरमभाड़ा' के सम्मिलित घारी तालुक का पुराना ग्राम 'भाठ' का क्षेत्र, और परिशिष्ट की मद ( 13 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट कुंकावाव-वाडिया तालुक के ग्राम" पढ़ा जाए ;
(3) 64. सर्खेज में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में, उसमें णित "पेटापुर सर्किल" शब्द हटा दिए जाएंगे :

" 64- ब्रज निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में सम्मिलित गांधीनगर तालुक के ग्राम" ।
( III ) टिप्पणी में, अनुसूची के अन्त में, " 1977 के अगस्त मास के प्रथम दिन शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर" " 1982 के अगस्त मास के प्रथम दिन" शब्द और अंक रखें जाएंगे
(4) 79. गांधीनगर में , निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में , " गांधीनगर तालुक में गांधीनगर सकिल और पेठापुर सर्किल [परिशिष्ट की मद ( 20 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट ग्रामों को छोड़कर शब्दों के स्थान पर "गांधीनगर तालुक [परिशिष्ट की मद ( 20) में विनिदिष्ट ग्रामों को छोड़कर]" पढ़ा जाए ;
[फा०सं० 282/ 1/गुज ०/ 83] आदेश रो, के. गणेशन , र्माचव ( 5) 81. कादी में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में, " 11. नन्दासन " शब्द और अंक के बाद "और लक्ष्मीपुरा " शब्द जोड़े जाएंगे :
ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 18th August , 1983 ( 6) 82-जोटाना ( अ० जा० ) में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के वर्णन में, " 11. नन्दासन" शब्द और अंक के बाद, "और लक्ष्मीपुरा " शब्द जोड़े जाएंगे ;
Ο.Ν. 85 (Ε) . Whereas the Government of Gujarat have intimated some alterations in the names and boundaries of certain territorial divisions referred to in the description of constituencies given in Schedule VI of the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 1976;
(7) 84-मभ्सा में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के विद्यमान वर्णन के स्थान पर, " बीजापुर तालुक में मन्सा सकिल और गोजारिया सर्किल के 53- बिहार , 54-चन्दासन , 62-मंडलीविहार, 67-बिलोद्रा , 68-हरनाहोड़ा, 69-गोजारिया, 70-सामू, 71- पादूस्मा, 72-चरादा , 82-धमेदा, 85-अमरपुरा 86-खरना , 87-पारस , 88 -खट्टा अम्बा , 89- बोरू, और 90- इटादरा ग्राम" विस्तार का वर्णन रखा जाएगा;
And whereas the Commission considers it neces- sary and expedient to make amendments in the description of the extent of the constituencies in the Schedule VI of the Delimitation of Parliament- ary and Assembly Constituencies Order , 1976, to bring the Order up- to -date ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub- section (I ) of section 9 of the Rep- resentation of the people Act , 1950 , the Election Commission hereby makes the corrections in the said Order as follows :---
1. In part B , of the Schedule- (8) 85 -बीजापुर में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के विद्यमान वर्णन के स्थाने पर, "बीजापुर तालुक में बीजापुर सर्किल और गोजारिया सकिल के 30. डगावाडिया, 31. असोदा , 32-वडासन , 33-सोखदा, 43 -गेरितां 44-कोलावाडा , 45- उखल, 46-कुकरवाडा , 47-देषडा और 51 -तितोदिन ग्राम" विस्तार का वर्णन रखा जाएगा
(1) In 45. Amreli , in the description of the extent of constituency , for "Amreli mu- nicipality and Amreli Taluka read" "Amreli municipality and Amreli taluka (excluding the area of erstwhile village 'Bhath' of Dhari taluka amalgamated with village ' Sarambhada' of Amreli taluka)";
(9) 167-कामरेज (अ ०ज ०जा० ) में, निर्वाचन-क्षेत्र के विस्तार के विद्यमान वर्णन के स्थान पर , " कामरेज तालुक और पल्साना तालुक ( तराज ग्राम को छोड़कर ) और चोरासी तालुक का देवध ग्राम" विस्तार का वर्णन रखा जाएगा । और
(2) In 46. Dhari , in the description of the extent of constituency , for " Dhari taluka and villages in Kunkavav- Vadia taluka specified in item ( 13 ) of the Appendix " , read "Dhari taluka and area of erst- while village 'Bhath' of Dhari taluka amalgamated with village 'Sarambhada' ofAmreli taluka and villages in Kunka- vav-Vadia taluka specified in item ( 13 ) of the Appendix" ;
( 10) 172-चोरासी में, निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के विस्तार के विद्यमान वर्णन के स्थान पर, "सूरत शहर के नगरपालिका वार्ड 3,16 और 19 और घोरासी तालुका का नवगाम सर्किल देहात ( देवध ग्राम को छोड़कर ) और पल्सताना तालुक का तराज ग्राम" विस्तार का वर्णन रखा जाएगा ।
( II) परिशिष्ट में गांधीनगर जिला शीर्षक के अन्तर्गत मद ( 20 ) का शीर्षक निम्त प्रकार से पढ़ा जाएगा-
(3) In 64, Sarkhej , in the description of the extent of constituency, the words " in Pethapur circle " occuring therein shall be omitted;

(4). In 79. Gandhinagar , in the description of the extent of constituency, for the words "Gandhinagar circle and Pethapur circle [excluding the villages specified in item (20) of the Appendix] in Gandhi- nagar taluka, read "Gandhinagar taluka [excluding the villages specified in item (20) of the Appendix] ".
( 5 ) In 81. Kadi, in the description of the extent of constituency , after the word and figure " 11 - Nandasan" , the words " and Laxmipura " shall be inserted ;
(6) In 82. Jotana ( SC ) , in the description of the extent of constituency, after the word and figure " 11 - Nandasan" the words " and Laximpura " shall be insert- ed;
(7) In 84. Mansa , for the existing description of the extent of the constituency, the description of the extent " Mansa circle and the villages 53 -Vihar , 54 -Chadasana , 62-Mandalivihar , 67- Bilodra , 68 - Harn- ahoa , 69 -Gojaria , 70 - Samau , 71 -Padu- sma, 72 - Charada , 82 -Dhameda, 85- Amarpura , 86 - Kharna , 87 - Parsa , 88- Khata Amba , 89 - Boru and 90 - Itadara of Gojaria circle in Vijapur taluka " shall be substituted ;
(8) In 85. Vijapur, for the existing descrip- tion of the extent of the constituency , the description of the extent "Vijapur circle and the villages 30-Dagavadiya , 31 -Asoda , 32- Vadasan , 33 -Sokhada , 1
43-Gerita, 44 -Kolavada , 45 - Ubkhal , 46- Kukarvada, 47 -Devda, 48 - Manekpur Dabhala , 49 - Dabhala , 50 -Vasai and 51-Titodan of Gojaria circle in Vijapur taluka " shall be substituted ;
(9) In 167. Kamrej (ST) , for the existing description of the extent of the consti- tuency , the description of the extent "Kamrej taluka and palsana taluka ( ex- cluding village Taraj ) and Devadh Vil- lage in Chorasi taluka " shall be substi- tuted ; and
( 10) In 172. Chorasi , for the existing descrip- tion of the extent of the constituency, the description of the extent, "Municipal Wards Nos . 3 , 16 and 19 in Surat City , Navagam circle Rural in Chorasi taluka (excluding village Devadh ) , and village Taraj in Palsana taluka" shall be substi- tuted.
II . In the Appendix-
Under the heading Gandhinagar District , head- ing of item ( 20) shall be read as under-
"Villages in Gandhinagar taluka included in 64- Sarkhej constituency" .
III. In the Note, at the end of the Schedule for the words and figures " 1st day of August, 1977 " , the words and figures " 1st day of August, 1982 " shall be substituted .
