ORDER

New Delhi, the 22nd August. 1983

S.O. 603 (E)/18AA/IDRA/83. - Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 634(E)/18AA/IDRA/80, dated 23rd August, 1980 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Shivraj Fine Art Litho Works, Nagpur, was taken over under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of three years upto and inclusive of the 22nd August, 1983, and the Development Corporation of Vidarbha Limited, Nagpur, was authorised to take over the management of the said industrial undertaking;

And, whereas, the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said industrial under- taking should continue under the management of the Develop- ment Corporation of Vidarbha Limited, Nagpur, for a further 620 G.I./83 (1) THE GAZETTE OF 1NDJA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC 3(ii)] -T Tr-iff 511, ?TT iu^ur TV sTsrfa wr 22 'h^'r, period of six month¹, upto and inclusive of the 22nd February, 1984;

ORDER

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (2) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period of six months upto and inclusive of the 22nd February, 1984.

Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 694(E)/18FB/IDRA/8O, dated the 28th August, 1980, (hereinafter referred lo HS the said Order), the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section 18 FB of the Industrie^ (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), had declared that the operation of ull contracts, assurances of pro- perty, agreements settlements, awards, standing orders or other instruments in force immediately before the date of issue of the said Order (other than those relating to secured liabilities to hanks and financial institutions) tn which the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Shivraj Fine Art Litho Works, Nagpur or the Company owning such industrial undertaking is a party or which may be applicable to such industrial undertaking or Company shall remain suspended for a period of one year and that all the rights, previleges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before th"e said date shall remain suspended for the said period:

And, whereas, the Central Government being of opinion that it is necessary in the interests of the general public that the said Order should continue to have effect after the expiry of the period of one year aforesaid; had declared from time to tinio for such continuance for a further period upto and inclu- sive of the 22nd August, 1983 (vido Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) Nos. S. O. 668 (E)/18FB/IQRA/81, dated the 26th August, 1981 and S.O. 621 (E) /18 FB/ IDRA/82, dated the 27th August, 1982);

And, whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the duration of the said Order should be extended for a further period upto and inclusive of 22nd February, 1984 ;

Now, therefore, in exercise 'of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) reat) with sub-section (2) of section 18 FB of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said Order upto tmd inclusive if the 22nd Febru- ary, 1984.
