G.S.R. 663(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts melting scrap of stainless steel falling under Heading No. 73.03/05 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when imported into India, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the said First Schedule.

NOTIFICATION

G.S.R. 666(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (2) of section 4 of the Khadi and Village Industries Com- mission Act, 1956 (61 of 1956) read with rule 3 of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission Rules, LfJ57, the Central Gov- ernment hereby re-appoints Shrimati Tara Ramchandra Suthe, as a Member of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, esta- blished under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act for a period commencing on and from 24th September, 1983 and ending on the 30th September, 1983.
2. The Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred by section 5 of the said Act, also appoints her as Secretary of the said Commission for the aforesaid period.
