ORDER

New Delhi, the 27th August, 1983

S.O. 623(E)|18-AjIDRA|83.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 727(E)|18A| 1DRA|72 dated the 29th November, 1972 (here- inafter referred to as the said Order), the manage- ment of the Industrial Undertaking known as Messrs Containers and Closures Limited, Calcutta, had been taken over for a period upto and inclu- sive of the 28th November, 1977, and the Indust- rial Reconstruction Corporation of India Limited, Calcutta was appointed as "Authorised Control- ler";

And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 787(E)| 18A[IDRA|77, dated the 2&th November, 1977, the duration of the said Order was extended for a further period of two years upto and inclusive of the 28th November, 1979;

1979, the duration of the said Order was extend- ed for a further period of one year upto and in- clusive of the 28th November, 1980;

And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 926(E)|18A| 1DRA|8O, dated the 28th November, 1980, the duration of the said Order was extended for a further period of six months upto and inclusive of the 28th May, 1981;

And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development No. S.O. 39(E)|18A| IDRA|81, dated the 28th May, 1981, the duration of the said Order was extended for a further period of six months upto and inclusive of the 28th Nov- ember, 1981;

And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 832(E)|18A| IDRA]81 dated the 28th November, 1981, the duration of the said Order was extended for a further period of one year upto and inclusive of the 28th November, 1982;

And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 834(E)|18A| IDRAJ82, dated the 26th November, 1982, the duration of the said Order was extended for a further period of six months upto and inclusive of the 28th May, 1983;

And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Indusrial Development) No. S.O. 381(E)|18A| IDRA|83, dated the 28th May, J983, the duration of the said Order was extended for a further period of three months upto and inclusive of the 28 th August, 1983;

And whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said Order should continue to have effect for a further period of two months;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of Section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regula- tion) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Govern- ment hereby directs that the said Order shall con- tinue to have effect for a further period of two months upto and inclusive of the 28th October 1983.
