NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th August, 1983
S.O. 626(E).—In exercise of the powers confer- red by clause (3) of article 77 of the Constitu- tion, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of India (Allo- cation of Business) Rules, 1961, namely :—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Govern- ment of India (Allocation of Business) (One hundred and Fifty-ninth Amendment) Rules, 1983.
(2) They shall come into force at once.
2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961,—in the Second Sche- dule,—.
(a) under the heading "MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE (SHT- KSHAAUR SANSKRITI MANTRA- LAYA)", under sub-heading "B. DE- PARTMENT OF CULTURE (SANS- KRITI VIBHAG)", for entries 3, 4 and 13, the following entries shall be substi- tuted respectively, namely :—
"3. The Ancient Monuments and Arch- aeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 and Ancient Monuments Pre- servation Act, 1904";
"13. Treasure Trove : Antiquities and Art Treasures Act, 1972 and Export of antiquities.";
(b) under the heading "MINISTRY OF ENERGY (OORJA MANTRALA- YA)", under sub-heading "B. DE- PARTMENT OF POWER (VIDYXJT VIBHAG)", after entry 10, the'follow- ing entries shall be inserted, namely :—
"11. National Thermal Power Corporation.
(ii) National Hydro-Electric ^ower Cor-
poration.
(iii) Rural-Electrification Corporation.
(iv) North-Eastern Electric Power Corpo-
ration.";
(c) under the heading "MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND' REHABILITATION (SHRAM AUR PUNARVVAS MAN- . TRALAYA)", under sub-heading "A. DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR (SH- RAM VIBHAG)", entry 22 shall be omitted.";
(d) under the heading "MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (GRAMIN VIKAS MANTRALAYA)" after entry 14, the following entry shall be inserted, namely :—
"15. All matters relating to cooperation with the Centre for Integrated Rural Development for Asia and Pacific (CIRDAP) and the Afro-Asian Ru- ral Reconstruction Organisation (AARRO).
(e) under the heading "DEPARTMENT OF ATOMIC ENERGY (PARMANU OORJA VIBHAG)", after entry 10, the following entries shall be inserted, namely :—
"11. All matters relating to the Tata In- stitute of Fundamental Research.
12. All matters relating to the Saha In-
stitute of Nuclear Physics.".
