S.O. 627(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section 15 of the Maruti Limited (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980 (64 of 1980), the Central Government here- by makes the following amendment in the notifi- cation of the Ministry of industry (Department of Heavy Industry), No. S.O. 409 (E). dated 8th June, 1983, namely,—

S.O. 628(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by clause (f) of section 2 of the Maruti Li- mited (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings^ Act, 1980 (64 of 1980), the Central Government hereby specifies the 15th day of September," 1983, as the date for the purpose of section 18 of the said Act, Every person having a claim against Maruti Limited shall prefer such claim before the Commissioner of Payments at Room No. 221 (2nd floor), Hotel Kanishka, 19, Ashok Road, New Delhi-110001 within the period of limitation prescribed by section 18 of the said Act.
