ferred by the proviso to article 309 and clause (5) of article 148 of the Constitution and after con- sultation with the Comptroller and Auditor Gene- ral of India in relation to persons serving in the

For the Table, appended to entry (XIV)(i)(A) of sub-rule (2) of rule (1) of Central Civil Ser- vice (Revised Pay) Fifth Amendment Rules, 1975, the following Table shall be substituted :—

CB-7-240 "iOO-EB-15-560" Foot Note :—The aforesaid amendment intends to rectify certain mistakes in pre-rcvised and corres- ponding revised scales notified earlier in iaspect of the post of Head Draftsman. As Centra! Civil. Service (Revised Pay) Fifth Amendment Rules, 1975, are effective from the 1st January, 1973, the aforesaid amendment thereto shall also be effective from the 1st January, 1973 only. As the amend- ment seeks to rectify only a mistake occurred earlier, the interest of no one will be adversely affected.
