ORDER
New Delhi, the 3rd September, 1983
S.O. 631(E)|18FA| 18AA|IDRA|83.—Where- as by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No. S.O. 128(E)|18FA|18AA|IDRA|73, dated the 5th March, 1973, the Central Government had authorised a body of persons (hereinafter referred to as the authorised person) to take over the management of the whole of the industrial under- taking known as Messrs Krishna Silicate and Glass Works Limited, Calcutta, for a period of five years fiom the 5th March, 1973.
And, whereas, by the Orders of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Industry (Depart- ment of Industrial Development) No. S.O, 146(E)J 18FA|18AA|IDRA|78, dated the 3rd March, 1978, No. S.O. 145(E)|18FAI18AA|IDRA|8O, dated the 3th March, 1980, No. S.O. 144(E)|18FA|18AAJ IDRA|81, dated the 4th March, 1981, No. S.O. 685(E)|18FA|18AA|1DRA|81, dated the 4th Sep- tember, 1981, No. S.O. 123(E)|18FA|18AAJ IDRA|82, dated the 4th March, 1982 and S.O. 649|E.|18FA|18AA|IDRA182, dated the 4th September, 1982, the Central Government autho- orised the authorised persons to continue to man- age the said industrial undertaking for further periods upto and inclusive of the 4th September, 1983;
And, whereas, the Central Government, being of the opinion that it was expedient in the interest of general public that the authorised person should continue to manage the said industrial undertak- ing, made an application under the proviso to sub- section (2) of section 18FA of the Industries (De- velopment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), to the Calcutta High Court prajing for the conti- nuance of such management for a further period upto 31st December, 1983;
And, whereas, the said High Court, by its Order dated the 29th August, 1983, permitted the autho- rised person to continue to manage the said in- dustrial undertaking for a further period upto 31st December, 1983;
And, now, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 18FA, read with section 18AA, of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs the authorised person to continue to manage the said industrial undertaking for a further period from 5th Septem- ber, 1983 to 31st December, 1983.
