G.S.R. 684(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 81!83-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1983, namely : —

In the said notification, after SI. No. 76 and the entry relating thereto, the following Si. No. and entry shall be inserted, name- ly :—

"77. No. 234 83-Central Excjses, dated 3rd September 1983."
