ORDER

New Delhi, the 9th September, 1983

G.S.R 695(E)/Ess. Com./Sugarcane.—In exer- cise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the follow- ing Order further to amend the Sugarcane (Con- trol) Order, 1966, namely :--•

1.(1) This Order may be called the Sugarcane

(Control) Amendment Order, 1983.

(,?) It bhall come into force on the 1st day of

October, 1983.

2. In the Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966,—

(i) in clause 3A, in proviso (iii), for the words and figures "not exceeding 0.625 kilograms per quintal of sugarcane¹', the words and figures "not exceeding 1.000 kilogram per quintal of sugarcane" shall be substituted;

fii) in clause 4A, in proviso (iii), for the words and figures "not exceeding 0.625 kilo- grams per quintal of sugarcane", the words and figures "not exceeding 1.000 kilogram per quintal of sugarcane" shall be substituted.
