S.R.O. 73 E.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- Section (2) of Section 1 of the Cantonments (Amendment) Act, 1983 (15 of 1983), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of October 1983, to be the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
