G.S.R. 697CE).—- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Deparment of Revenue) No. 193182—Customs, dated the 17th August, 1982, namely :—
In the Table annexed to the said notification, after item No. (5) and the entry relating thereto, the following item and entry shall be inserted, namely :—
"(6) Raw materials and components required for construction of, or fitment to, the vessels or ships of Coast Guard.".
