G.S.R. 702(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 2 of the Haryanaand Uttar Pradesh (Alteration of Boundaries) Act, 1979 (31 of 1979), the Central Government here- by appoints the 15th day of September 1983, as the appointed day for the purposes of that Act.
