NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 15th September, 1983
S.R.O. 74(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by proviso to sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947 (15 of 1947) and in continuation of the notifica- tion of the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence S.R.O. No. 69-E dated the 12th August 1983, the Central Government hereby declares all services connected with the operatior and maintenance of telephone services in the State of Assam to be services of vital importance to the community for a further period of one month with effect from 16th September, 1983.

No. 70-E dated the 12th August, 1983, the Central Government hereby declares every service forming part of, or connected with, the production and supply of petroleum products and running and mainten- ance of oil installations and pipelines in Assam to be a service of vital importance to the com- munity for a further period of one month with effect from 18th September, 1983.
