(J.S.R. 7O8(E).—The following draft ol cer- tain rules further to amend the Rice-Milling Indus- try (Regulation and Licensing) Rule's, 1959, which the Central Government proposes to make, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Rice-Milling Industry (Regulation) Act, 1958 (21 of 1958), is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of the said section for the information of all persons li- kely to be afFeclcd thereby, and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consi- deration after the expiry of 45 days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette of India in which this notification is published are made avail- able to the public.
DRAF F RULES
1. These rules may be called the Riee-Milun^ Industry (Regulation and Licensing) Amendment Rules, 1983.
2. In the Rice-Milling Industry (Regulation and
Licensing) Rules, 1959, in the Schedule,
( I) in Form IV, in clause 3, in condition
(i) in the first proviso, lor the wordi •"eight years and three months", the words 'nine years and three months" shall be substituted;
(iii) in the third proviso, tor the word:, 'two years", the words "three year*, and 2 days" shall be substituted.
