NOTIFICATION

G.S.R. 712(E).—In exercise of the poweis conferred by clause (b) of (ub- section (1) of section 63 of the Wild Life (protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Wild Life (Transactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1973 published with the noti- fication of the Govtrument of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Depart- ment of Agriculture\ No G.S.R. 198(E) dated the 9th April, 1973, namely:—
(1) These rules may be called the Wild Life (Trftnsa-jtions and Taxi-
dermy) Amendment Rules, 1983.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in
the Official Gazette.
2. In sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Wild Life (Transactioni and Taxideimv) Rules, 1973, for the words "seven days", the words "thirty days" shall b" substituted.
