NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th September, 1983
G.S.R. 719(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 63 of the Wild Life Pro- tection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Wild Life Transactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1973, published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Depart- ment of Agriculture), No. G.S.R. 337(E), dated the 1st July, 1973, namely:—
(1) These rules may be called the Wild Life (Transactions
and Taxidermy) Amendment Ruels, 1983.
(2) They shall come into force on the dale of their publi-
cation in the Official Gazette.
2. In sub-rules (1) of rule 4 of the Wild Life (Transactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1973, for the words "seven days", the words "thirty days" shall be substituted.
