NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th September, 1983
G.S.R. 721 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 63 of the Wild Life (Projection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), ihe Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Wild Life (Tran- sactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1973, published with the notifi- cation of the Government of India in the Minis'ry of Agriculture (Depar'ment of Agriculture), No. G.S.R. 373(E), dated the 1st August, 1973, namely :•—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Wild Life (Transactions
and Taxidermy) Amendment Rules, 1983.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publica-
tion in the Official Gazette.
2. In sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Wild Life (Transactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1973, for the words "seven days", the words "thirty days" shall be substituted.
