G.SR. 726(E).—In exercise of the powers conicrred by clause (b) of sub-SLCtion (1) of section 63 of the Wild Lite (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), ihc Central G-wernincnt hereby makes the following rules to amend the Wild Life (Tran- sactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1974, published v/ith the notifi- cation of the Government of India in the Minb ry of Agriculture (Department of Agriculture), No. G.S.R. 3(>6(E), dated the 14th August, 1974, namely :—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Wild Life ( Transac-
tions and Taxidermy) Amendment Rules, 1983.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their Publica-
tion in the Official Gazette.
2. In sub-rule d) of rule 4 of the Wild Life (Transactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1974, for the words "seven days", the words "thirty days" shall be substituted.
