NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th September, 1983
G.S.R. 727 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 63 of the Wild Life (Pro.ection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Wild Life (Tran- sactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1974, published with the notifi_- cation of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Agriculture), No. G.S.R. 409(E), dated the 1st October, 1974, namely :—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Wild Life (Transac-
tions and Taxidermy) Amendment Rules, 1983.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publica-
tion in the Official Gazette.
2. In sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Wild Life (Transactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1974, for the words "seven days", the words "thirty days" shall be substituted.
