2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY FPART II—SEC. 3(i)](51 of 1975), when imported into India for the manufacture of graphite electrodes, from —
(i) so much of that portion of the duty of customs which is leviable thereon under the said First Schedule as is in excess of the amount calculated at the rate of 30 per cent ad valorem; and
(ii) the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act.
This notification shall be in force upto and in- clusive of the 30th day of September, 1984.

G.S.R. 7420B).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 127|82-Customs, dated the 1st May, 1982, namely :—
In the table annexed to the said notification, after Serial No. 15 and the entry relating there- to, the following Serial No. and entry shall be in- serted, namely :—
"16. Old Well Cement.".
