NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26 September, 1983
G.S.R. 746(E).—The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Registration and Licensing of Industrial Undertakings Rules, 1952, which the Central Government propose to make in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20 of the Industries (Development and Regula- tion) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of the said section 30, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of 60 days from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette.
2. Any objection or suggestions which may be received from any person in respect of the said draft before the date so specified, will be taken into consideration by the Central Government. Draft Rules
1. These rules may be called the Registration and Licensing of Industrial Undertakings (Amend- ment) Rules, 1983.
2. In the Registration and Licensing of Indus- trial Undertaking Rules, 1952,
(i) in rule 3, for sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely :—
"(2) Each application .shall be accompa- nied by a crossed demand dratt lor Rs. 10001- drawn on the State Bank of India, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi, in favour of the Pay and Ac- counts Officer, Ministry of Industry, (Department of Industrial Develop- ment) Government of India, New Delhi."
(ii) In rule 7, for sub-rule (3), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely :—
"(3) Each application shall be accomp- anied by a crossed demand draft for Rs. 1000 drawn on the State Bank of India, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi, in favour of Pay and Accounts Offi- cer, Ministry of Industry (Depart- ment of Industrial Development). Government of India, New Delhi."
