New Delhi, the 29th September, 1983
S.O. 694(E) 118A|IDRA|83.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Develop- ment) No. S.O. 218(E)/18A/IDRA/78, dated the 29th March, 1978 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the Industrial Undertaking as Messrs Alok Udyog Vanaspati and Plywood Limited, located at Calcutta, has been taken over for a period of five years with effect from 29th March, 1978, and the West Bengal Forest Development Corporation Limited, 6A, Raja Subodh Mallick Square, 7th Floor, Calcutta- 700013, was appointed as the authorised control- ler ;
And whereas, the Central Government, being of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said Order should continue to have effect after the expiry of the period of five years afore- said, had issued directions for such continuance for a further period upto and inclusive of the 30th September, 1983 vide Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 234(E)/ 18A/IDRA/83, dated the 28
And whereas, the Central Government, is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest lhat the said Order should continue vo have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 31st December, 1983;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of section ] 8A of the Industries (Development and Regula- tion) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Gov- ernment hereby directs that the said Order dated the 29th March, 1978 shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 31st December, 1983.
