New Delhi, the 30th September, 1983
G.S.R. 763(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Exciss Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amend- ment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 2]83-Central Excise dated the 1st January, 1983, namely :—
In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words "30th day of September, 1983", the figures letters and words "3Lst day of Decem- ber, 1983" shall be substituted.
