New Delhi, the 30th September 1983

G.S.R. 764(E).—Li exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the noti- fication of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 185183-Centml Fxcises dated the 2nd July, 1983, "namely :—

In the iuid notification, in paragraph 2, lor the figures, letters and words "30th day of September, 1983", the figures, letters and words "?Jst day of December, 1983" shall be substituted.
