G.S.R. 78i(E) :—In pursuarcc if sub-clause (1) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962)and in supersession of the notification of the Govern- ment of India i n the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 198/Customs [G.S.R. 542 (E)], dated the 1st July, 1983 the Central Government hereby determines that, for tho purposes of section 14 of the said Act, the rato of exchange for conversion . of eacli of the foreign currency .specified in column (2) of the Schedule bclow into Indian currency or vice-versa, shall be the rate mentioned against it in the corresponding entry in column (3) there of.
