New Delhi, the 15th October, 1983

S.O. 735(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) the Central Govern- ment, on being requested so to do by Central Bank of India, establishes, with effect from the 16th Octo- ber, 1983 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Maharashtra under the name of Akola Gramin Bank which shall operate within the local limits of the Dis- trict of Akola in the State of Maharashtra. S.O. 736 (E).—ia exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Govern- ment, ai'ter consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and Centra] Bank of India by which, Akola Gra- niin Bank has been sponsored, specifies Akola as the place where Akola Gramin Bank shall have its head office.

S.O. 737(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bunk of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies, for the purposes o' the said sub-clause^ Akola Gramin Bank, Akola being an institution established under sub-section (I) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976).

[No. F. 1-7|83-RRB(JII)] S.O. 738(E).—In exercise of the powers confer- red by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) the Central Go- vernment hereby appoints Shri R. R. Phadtare as Chairman of the Akola Gramin, Bank Akola and specifies the period commencing on the 16-10-1983" and ending with the 30-10-1986 as the period for which the said Shri R. R. Phadtare shall hold office as such Chairman.

S.O. 739(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) sub- section (6) of Section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Reserve Bank of India hereby directs the inclusion in the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following bank, namely :

'Akola Gramin Bank, AKofa (Maharashtra)".
