NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 20th October, 1983S.R.O. 78(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of Section 14 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924), the Central Government being satisfied that for the adminis- tration of the Cantonment, it is desirable to vary the constitution of the Cantonment Board, Deolali, hereby makes a declaration to that effect and further directs that the Constitution of the said Board shall stand varied for a period of six months with effect from the 20th October, 1983 or till a Board is constituted under Section 13 of the said Act whichever is earlier. S.R.O. 79(E).—In pursuance of sub-section (3) of Section 14 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924) read with the notification of the Gov- ernment of India in the Ministry of Defence No. S.R.O. 78-E dated 20-10-1983, published in the Government of India, Extraordinary Gazette, Part II, Section 4, dated 20th October, 1983, the Central Government hereby notifies that the fol- lowing two persons have been nominated to be the members of the Cantonment Board, Deolali with effect from 20th October, 1983 :—

1. Col A. K. Chatterjec nominated under clause

(b) of sub-section (2) of section 14.

2. Vitjial Rao Mukund Adke nominated under

clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 14.
