G.S.R. 802(E).—In exercise of the power.; conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Aci 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby mak^s the fallowing amendment in the notification of ihe Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 230/82-Customs, dated the 19th October, 19K2, namely :—

2. In paragraph 2 of. the said notification, for the figures, letters and word "31st October, 1983", the figures, letters and word "31st day of October, 1984" shall be substituted.
