ORDER
New Delhi, the 29th October 1983
S.O. 78O(E)|18AA|IDRA[83.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 618(E)|18AA|IDRA|79, dated the 31st October, 1979 (hereinafter refer- red to as the said Order), the Central Govern- ment had authorised the Secretary, Closed and Sick Industries Department, now called Secretary, Industrial Reconstruction Department, Govern- ment of West Bengal, Calcutta (hereinafter refer- red to as the said authorised person) to take over the management of Messrs Sree Saraswati Press Limited, 11, Barrackpore Trunk Road, Belgharia, Calcutta (hereinafter referred to as the said in- dustrial undertaking) for a period of three years from the 31st October, 1979;
And, whereas, by the Order of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Industry (De- partment of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 768(E)|18AA|IpRA|82, dated the 30th October, 1982, the duration of the said Order was extended upto and inclusive of the 30th April, 1983 and it was further extended upto and inclusive of the 30th October, 1983 by the Order No. S.O. 347(E)| 18AA|83, dated the 30th April, 1983;
And, whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public in- terest that the management of the said industrial undertaking by the said authorised person should continue for a further period upto and inclusive of 31st December, 1983;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period- upto and inclu- sive of the 31st December, 1983.
