NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st November, 1983
S.O. 786(E).^In pursuance of clause (iv) of section 2 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 (37 of 1954), nnd in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Depnrament of Health) No. S.O. 8O3(E), dated the 13th November, 1982, the Central Government hereby appoints,—
(a) Dr. K. C. Guha, Chief Technical Officer, Central Food Labora-
tory, Calcutta, as the Director of the said Laboratory ; and
(b) Shi-i A. K. Dhar, Chief Technical Officer, Central Food Labora- tory, Calcutta, to perform, during the absence "f the Director, all or any of his functions under the eaid Act.
