NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 8th November, 1983

G.S.R. 835(EV—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 3 of the AM India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, after consultation with the Government of JammuanJ Kashmir, hereby makes the following rules further to' amend the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Rules, 1968, namely:—

1. (1) These rules miy be called the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Third Amendment Rules, 1983.

(3) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In Schedule III to the Indian Forest Service (Pay) Rules, 1968,—

(a) in the note immediately after the heading "A-Posts carrying pay above the time-scale pay of the Indian Forest Service under the State Govcrnm ;nls", before the words "Manipur Tripura", the words, "Jammu and Kashmir", shall be inserted;

(b) in the Table, for the entries under columns 1, 2 and 3 relating to Jammu and Kashmir, the following shall bo substituted, namely:—
