G.S.R. 852(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government here- by makes the following amendments in the noti fication of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 35|83- Ccntral Excises, dated the 1st March, 1983, namely :—
In the Table annexed to the said notification,
in Serial No. 2,—

G.S.R. 853(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Cus- toms Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Gov- ernment, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the follow- ing amendment in the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Finance (Depart- ment of Revenue) No. 29-Customs, dated the 25th February, 1983, namely :—
In the said notification, after the word "compo- nents", wherever it occurs, the brackets and words "(including components of fuel-efficient motor cars in semi-knocked down packs and completely knocked down packs)" shall be inserted.

G.S.R. 854(E).—Tn exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Cus- toms Act, 1^62 (52 of 19621. read with sub- section (4) of section 45 of the Finance Act. 1983 (11 of 1983), the Central Government' being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. t41-Customs, dated the 13th May, 1983, namely :—
