2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART H-^SEC. 3(i)]Provided that the importer, if not an actual user, sells the imported Pahn Stearin to actual users engaged in the manufacture of soap, grease or fatty acids at prices fixed for that purpose by the Monitoring Committee constituted by the Ministry of Commerce in this behalf.

G.S.R. 856(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub- section (4) of section 45 of the Finance Act, 1983 (11 of 1983), the Central Government, be- ing satisfied that it is necessary in the public in- terest so to do, hereby makes the following fur- ther amendment in the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Finance, De- partment of Revenue, No. 126|83-Customs, dated the 13th May, 1983, namely :—
In the Schedule to the said notification, after Serial No. 239 and the entry relating thereto, the following Serial, No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :—
"240. No. 311|83-Customs, dated the 22nd
November, 1983".
