ORDER New Delhi, the 24th November, 1983
S.O. 855(E)|18A|IDRA|83.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No.S.O. 725 (E)|18A|EDRA|72, dated the 25th November, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), a board of Management was authorised to take over the management of the whole of Industrial undertaking known as Messrs India Machinery Company Limited Howrah for a period of five years upto and inclusive of 24th November, 1977;
And, whereas, the said Order was modified by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industrial (Department of Industrial Development) No S. O. 630(E)|r8AlIDRA|77, dated the 24th August, 1977 and the Industrial Reconstruction Corporation of India Limited, Cal- cutta was authorised to take over the management of the said undertaking;
was extended by the orders of the Govermnt.. India in the Ministry of Industry (Department Industrial Development) No. S. O. 784(E)|18A| H)RA|77, dated the 24th November, 1977, No. S.O. 747(E)|18A|IDRA)79, dated the 2nd Nov- ember, 1979, No. S. O. 9OO(E)jl8A|IDRAj8O, dated the 21st November, 1980, No. S. O. 827(E)| 18AJIDRAJ81, dated the 24th November, 1981, No. S. O. 343 (E)|18A)IDRA!82 dated the 24th May, 1982, No. S.O. 833(E)|18A|IDRA|82, dated the 24th November, 1982 and No. S. O. 371(E)| 18A|IDRA|83, dated the 21st May, 1983 for a further period upto and inclusive oi the 24th November, 1983;
And, whereas, the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the duration of the said order should be ex- tended for a further period upto and inclusive of the 24th May, 1984.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regula- tion) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Govern- ment hereby directs that the said Order shall conti- nue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 24th May, 1984.
