ससे उपाबद्ध सारणी में उल्लिखित विनिर्देशों वाली और सीमाशुल्क टैरिफ अधि- नियम, 1975 (1975 का 51) की पहली अनुसूची के शीर्ष सं . 73.17 /19 के अंतर्गत आने वाली स्टेनलेग स्टील की सीवनहीन मंदर पाइपों को , जब उनका स्टेनलेस स्टील की ट्यूबों और पाइपों के विनिर्माण के लिए भारत में आयात किया जाए , उक्त पहली अनुसूची में विनिविष्ट उन पर उग्रहणीय सीमाशुल्क के उतने भाग से छूट देती है जितना मूल्य के 60 प्रतिशत की दर पर संगणित रकम से अधिक है ।

New Delhi , the 26th November , 1983
No. 314/ 83 -CUSTOMS
G.S.R. 862 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts stainless steel seam- less mother pipes having specifications mentioned in the Table annexed hereto and falling under Heading No. 73.1719 of the First Scheme to the Customs Tariff Act , 1975 (51 of 1975 ) , when imported into India for the manufacture of stainless steel tubes and pipes, from so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the said First Schedule as is in excess of the amount calculated at the rate of 60 per cent ad valorem .
