NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th November, 1983
GSR No. 870(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-secion (1) of section 6 of the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 (74 of 1956), the Central Goevnunent hereby appoints the 1st day of January, 1984, as the date with effect from which every dealer in the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli shall be liable to pay fax under the said Act on all sales of goods other than electric energy effected by him hi the course of Inter- state trade or commerce.
