New Delhi, the 30th November, 1983

CUSTOMS

G. S. R. 871(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is neces- sary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 232 Customs, dated the 5th December, 1979, namely .—

In the said notification, in the second paragraph, for the figures, letters and word "30th November, 1983"*, the figures, letters and word "31st May, 1984" shall be substituted.
