ORDER

S.O. 872CE)|18AA|IDRA 83.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Develop- ment) No. S.O. 320(E) 18AA|IDRA|79, dated the 26th May, 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the whole of the Industrial Undertaking known as Messrs. Apollo Zipper Company Private Limited, Calcutta, was takenover under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951,), for a period of three years upto and inclusive of the 25th May, 1982 and the Secretary, Closed and Sick Industries Department, Government of West Bengal, now called Secretary, Industrial Reconstruction Depart- ment, Government of West Bengal, was authorised to take over the management of the said Industrial And, whereas, the Central Government being of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that said Order should continue to have effect after the expiry of the period of three years aforesaid, had issued directions from time to time, for such continuance for a further period uplo and inclusive of the 30th November, 1983 [vide Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry 'Department of Industrial Development) No, S.O. 246(E)|18AA|IDRA[82 dated the 25th May, 1982, S.O. 832(E)|18AA|IDRAIS2 dated 24th Novem- ber, 1982 and S.O. 385(E)|18AA;IDRA|83 dated 31st May, 1983],

And, whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest at the said order shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 30th June, 1984;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers confer- red by sub-section (2) of section 18AA read with the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 18A of the Industries (Development, and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government here- by directs that the said Orders shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 30th June, 1984.
